E-Filing

About E-Filing
The 13th Circuit Court has incorporated an OnBase document management system and TrueFile system for E-Filing. E-Filing is mandatory in all open civil, domestic and criminal cases including appeals. There is no cost for the TrueFile software however, a convenience fee is charged to file documents and serve them on parties of record.  Initiating documents shall not be e-filed and must be filed by the traditional methods provided in the MCR.

Mandatory e-filing is authorized by:  Local Administrative Order 2010-4, Amendment of Administrative Order No. 2010-4 to Expand E-Filing and approval of Proposed Revision of Administrative Order No. 2010-4
