Island Rules & Regulations

  • Drinking Water: No drinking water is available on Bassett Island. The closest water location is the picnic area on Power Island, about a mile from your campsite. Many campers take water from the mainland or fill their containers at the picnic area prior to setting up camp.
  • Campsites: There are 10 campsites on Power Island. These sites are not assigned, they are 1st come, 1st serve. Please use the fire pit area that is established on the site. Each site has it's own picnic table, cooking grill and campfire circle. There are maintained restrooms servicing the island.
  • Check In/Check Out: Check in/out time is noon.
  • Pets: All pets must be leashed and under control of the owners at all times.
  • Litter: There is no trash dump on the islands. We ask that all campers remove any litter from the islands when they depart.
