Marriage Information

On the day of the ceremony you will need to bring the following:

    •    Marriage License
    •    Two witnesses over the age or 18 (the court will not provide witnesses)
    •    $10.00 fee
    •    All parties must speak and understand English

Grand Traverse County does not make appointments.  Weddings are performed Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Antrim County requires appointments which can be made by calling (231) 533-6441.  Weddings are performed Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Leelanau County requires appointments which can be made by calling (231) 256-8250.  Weddings are performed Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Fridays, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
