About Us

Grand Traverse Central Dispatch is a consolidated emergency services answering point, responsible for handling requests for law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies for the entire County of Grand Traverse as well as the City of Traverse City.

Our staff consists of a Director, Deputy Director, 911 Technician, 4 Dispatch Supervisors, 12 Dispatchers, and 1 Call Taker.  

Our primary dispatch center is located on the 3rd floor of the Governmental Center at 400 Boardman Avenue, Traverse City MI.  We also have a functional back-up facility located in the lower level of the Dennis Finch Law Enforcement Center.
