Additional Questions regarding 2% applications may be directed to:
Chris Cramer at Grand Traverse County
Or
Mary Shomin at the Grand Traverse Band
Once applications are reviewed by the GTBand and allocations are announced for those organizations who are chosen to receive a portion of the 2% gaming revenues, the County will be notified and receive the funds. Each organization submitting an application will be notified whether or not they were successful in receiving funding and the applicable amount.
Grand Traverse County is responsible for maintaining the accounting records of 2% funding received and the procedure to obtain your funding from the County will be outlined in your notification letter and will require you provide a short report on the expenditure of funds and project results to the County one month prior to one year after the cycle deadline for which you received grant funding. The County will in turn provide your report to the Tribe to complete the provisions required.
