How do I qualify for services? |
|
| To qualify for In Home Services a person must be 60 years of age or older, a resident of Grand Traverse County, and demonstrate a need for assistance. | |

What if I do not live in Grand Traverse County? |
|
| Each county in Michigan has an agency that provides some services to the senior population. Although several provide similar services, many of the agencies vary widely in the programs that are offered. | |
| The Grand Traverse County Commission on Aging keeps a list of contacts for all agencies in Michigan. Please call us at (231) 922-4688 for more information. | |

What are your hours/days of operation? |

| Normal hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. | |

Do you have equipment to loan? |

| Yes, In-Home Services has wheelchairs, walkers, bedside commodes, bath benches, transfer benches and canes. | |
| Fees are are based on the client's income and number of people in the household. For a one time fee, equipment may be kept as long as it is needed. We ask that items are returned they are no longer required. | |
