PrintNEZ Home Repair Loan Program
Applicants must live within Traverse City's Neighborhood Enterprise Zone that straddles 8th Street between Rose St. and Franklin St.
Homeowners that are at or below 80% of the Area Median Income may be able to borrow a maximum of $35,000 for home repairs. The loans are 50% forgiven over a five year period, the balance is 0% interest and deferred for 50 years or until the home is sold or vacated. The homeowners must provide a 25% match in cash or through another housing program i.e. Weatherization, Rural Development or MSHDA Property Improvement Program.
