Meetings

The GTCBRA meets the last Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise posted. The BRA meetings begin at 8:00 a.m. and are held in the Commission Chambers on the second floor of the Governmental Center, located at 400 Boardman Avenue, Traverse City, Michigan 49684.

Televised Meeting Information

GTCBRA meetings are also televised and broadcast on Government Access Television (TV99) live at the time of each meeting.  Meetings are also re-played at 2:00 p.m. on the Friday immediately following the regular meeting date and at 7:00 a.m. on the Sunday immediately following the regular meeting date.

As we have no control of the scheduling or playback of the recorded meetings, the times listed are according to playback information as received from the recording company.  We will try to note any deviation in the schedule. However, you may access meetings online thanks to the UpNorth Media Center at the Grand Traverse County Section of their site.  

The GTCBRA is a nine (9) member board appointed by the County Board of Commissioners for a three (3) year term per statute. From the GTCBRA creation in 1997 until 2009 members on the BRA also served on the Economic Development Corporation. Effective January 1, 2009, both boards were separated and therefore have different memberships.
