Battery & Cell Phone Recycling

BATTERY & CELL PHONE DROP OFF LOCATIONS

Household batteries may be taken to the following locations for recycling between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.  Collection boxes for rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries are located in the front entryway of each building.  Cell phones may be placed in the rechargeable battery box.

• GT County Governmental Center             400 Boardman
• TC Fire Department                              500 West Front St
• GT County Fire Station                         897 Parsons Rd

Batteries for motorized vehicles (cars, trucks, mowers, tractors, boats, etc.) must be recycled by State law.  In most cases, they can be traded in when you buy a new battery or they may be taken to the following locations:
