Located at 2471 N. Keystone Rd., 1/2 mile south of S. Airport Rd.
Hours:
Tuesday Noon to 7:00 pm
Thursday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Rates:
Brush = $5/cubic yard
Grass clippings & leaves = $5/cubic yard or $1/bag
Construction wood = $8/cubic yard
Stumps = .50/inch of diameter
* Brush Drop-Off Site Remains Open During Road Construction
Traverse City, Mich.— Grand Traverse County Resource Recovery has announced that the Brush Drop-Off Site will remain open during the road construction of the Hammond-Keystone Connector. This project will extend Hammond Road to the west to Keystone Road.
Keystone Road, from north of Birmley to Park Drive, will be improved and widened within the topographic constraints of the hill. The Grand Traverse County Brush Drop-Off Site will remain open during normal business hours.
Brush Drop-Off Site Hours: Tuesday-Noon to 7:00 PM
Thursday & Saturday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Update: Keystone Rd. is now paved from S. Airport to Brush Drop-Off on Keystone Rd.
We cannot accept credit cards. Cash or checks made out to Grand Traverse County are accepted.

The County does not sell compost. We do offer free compost to the public on one Saturday each April as part of our Earth Day events.

Curbside yard waste Pick-up
Contact your waste hauler regarding curbside collection. Residents in the Grand Traverse County curbside collection district must be provided with the option of curbside yard waste collection. The waste hauler sets the rates.
